Her days as Serena van der Woodsen prepared her well— Blake Lively sure knows how to stir up drama.
In October, she surprised us all with a baby announcement on her website Preserve. And since giving birth in December, the actress and husband Ryan Reynolds have been hush-hush about their new daughter. And not just from the press, but also from her Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants co-stars.
On Friday, Amber Tamblyn told PEOPLE the surprising way she found out Lively had given birth.
“That b-tch! She tricked me!” Tamblyn joked. “I went up there and I didn’t know, everybody knew but me, and she does that sh-t to me,” Tamblyn said. “She was texting me about wallpaper, she was like, ‘You gotta come see my new wallpaper,’ and I went up there, and there was her baby.”
We’re hoping that doesn’t mean that the baby girl’s name is Wallpaper; maybe Blake should have let Ryan name the baby girl Excalibur Anaconda Reynolds?
But even after being duped, Tamblyn is more than happy for her best friend. “I’m very excited for her and Ryan, and to be an auntie. All of us are godmothers so we are very happy.”
Yep, you heard right, Tamblyn alluded to the fact that each member of the Sisterhood group is a godmother, including Alexis Bledel and America Ferrera.
Here’s to hoping that the traveling pants fit Lively’s daughter someday, too.
