Pregnant Bindi Irwin Shares Pregnancy Update and Sonogram Picture

Bindi Irwin’s growing baby is the size of a hummingbird!

The expectant mom, 22, and her husband Chandler Powell, 23, shared a pregnancy update with their Instagram followers over the weekend.

On Saturday, September 12, Irwin shared an Instagram post showing the couple cuddling baby animals and sharing their first sonogram photo. “The animal joeys we care for are excited to meet our human joey,” Irwin wrote in the caption. “Baby Wildlife Warrior is about the size of a hummingbird now! We can’t wait to teach our little one about the importance of protecting our planet and the beauty of the wildlife and wild places we love so much. Thank you for your kindness and support on this magical journey.”

Powell also commented on the post, “Our little Wildlife Warrior is going to be so loved."

Irwin, daughter of Steve Irwin, the Crocodile Hunter, revealed she and Powell, who got married at their home, Australia Zoo, in March, were due in 2021 last month. “Baby Wildlife Warrior due 2021. Chandler and I are proud to announce that we’re expecting,” the couple wrote in the caption of an Instagram post.

In a different Instagram post, Irwin reflected on finding out she was going to become a parent. “Discovering that I was going to become a mother will forever be a moment where time stood still," she wrote. “Our baby Wildlife Warrior is going to be so very loved by our families and the entire Australia Zoo team. I can’t wait to find out what this amazing new soul loves in life, and experience the world all over again through their eyes.”
