Sibling Love: Big Brother Couldn’t Be Any More Proud of His Pre-K Graduate Sister
Parenting is made up of frustrating, difficult and altogether exhausting days. Yet, it only takes one priceless moment to make it all worth it. Point and case—siblings Derek and Charlee from Fairfield, Connecticut. Charlee graduated from pre-K last week, and was shortly after greeted with a tearful embrace from her very proud big brother.
“Today, my daughter graduated from pre-K,” the children’s mother, Aundrea Smith, says on Instagram. “After the ceremony, my son walked up to her and gave her a hug. ‘I’m just so proud of you,’ he said.”
The boy’s emotional gesture then prompted a chain reaction of heartwarming events. “Then of course, my daughter started crying,” the mom recalls. “As we wiped away our tears, my husband asked her, ‘Pumpkin, why are you crying?’ She responded, ‘I’m just so happy.’ We are so blessed.”
Needless to say, the photo has stolen the hearts of many, where it has more than 24,000 likes on Instagram and hundreds of comments from people who can’t get enough of the sweet siblings.
