Baby Sussex’s Name Is Officially Revealed

Introducing Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor! The newborn’s name was revealed on the Sussex Royal Instagram account.
“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are pleased to announce they have named their first born child: Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor,” the statement reads. “This afternoon Their Royal Highnesses introduced Her Majesty The Queen to her eighth great-grandchild at Windsor Castle. The Duke of Edinburgh and The Duchess’ mother were also present for this special occasion.”
The baby’s name has been a much-talked about topic since before he was even born. Bookies have been placing their bets on top contenders for a while now, and fans speculated “Arthur” and “Alexander” were potential namesakes after the Royal Family website hinted at it last week.
Prior to sharing their newborn’s name, the family of three made their first appearance together earlier this morning. “It’s magic. I have the two best guys in the world so I’m really happy,” Markle gushed.
