People Are Actually Body Shaming Ayesha and Steph Curry’s 10-Month-Old Son
“That baby is fat. Maybe give the kid creamed spinach instead of creamed cheetos?”
That’s just one of the out-of-line comments a fan made in reference to the 10-month-old baby of Ayesha and Steph Curry, who plays for the Golden State Warriors. It all started when Ayesha posted a family photo on Instagram, which included Steph and his brother Seth, who plays for the Portland Trail Blazers. The two brothers played against each other in the NBA’s Western Conference Finals.
The sweet family snapshot somehow spiraled into a body shaming session over the Curry’s baby Canon’s weight. It all went down when one fan felt it necessary to ask if Ayesha was pregnant again. “Absolutely not LOL,” she replied in the comments. “My 30 lb son is just breaking my back in every photo.” Her response then prompted a user to fire back with an uncalled for remark: “If that kid is 30 lbs, he’s got some serious health issues going on.”
Not having any of it, the mom replied with: “Excuse you? No. Just no.”
Sadly, that wasn’t the only ridiculous note that was left about the baby’s weight. Others fled to the photo to criticize the mom for letting her son get so big, or make comments on how she should change his diet.
Mom shaming is bad enough, but to drag a 10-month-old baby into it takes things way too far. Luckily, others were just as appalled, and left comments to support the mom and her adorable baby.
