Country Singer Austin Burke and Wife Lexy Expecting Their First Baby

Austin Burke and Lexy Burke have a very special birthday surprise this year—their expecting!

The Buy You a Drink singer and his wife shared the exciting news as Lexy turned 29 years old today. In a Instagram caption announcing baby Burke’s arrival, Lexy joked that she was “29 and FEELING FINE(minus all the nausea).” In the photos Austin and Lexy proudly hold their sonogram photo as their dogs look on.

“I can’t explain my happiness,” Austin told People. “Knowing that Lexy is carrying our baby has given me a new appreciation for her and moms everywhere. She’s going to be the best mom, and I’m ready to teach this kid the very little I know.”

The couple confirmed that they plan to welcome their first child in the fall and are already deep in preparation mode. “I’m currently in the phase of trying to read every parenting/pregnancy blog I can, and listen to every motherhood-related podcast!" Lexy shared.

The couple tied the knot at Fiddle Leaf Farms on New Year’s Eve in 2019. In an Instagram post capturing the singer-songwriter shared a part of his vows. “I protect you, and our future family. I vow to love you with my whole heart and not a drop less,” he wrote. “I vow to not know where we’re heading, but to enjoy every second of the journey right by your side.”
