Amy Schumer is a mom! The comedian took to Instagram to make the big announcement, where she shared a sweet photo of her husband, Chris Fischer, kissing her while she cradles her new baby boy. “Our royal baby was born,” she writes. Just yesterday, Schumer revealed she was having a boy.
The exciting news comes while we’re still riding out the high of Baby Sussex’s birth. While Schumer and Meghan Markle’s sons don’t share the same birth date, looks like they were born less than a full day apart. It seems appropriate, since Shcumer’s pregnancy announcement back in October was a silly Markle and Prince Harry spoof.
Schumer’s birth announcement comes on the heels of a long and grueling pregnancy. The new mom suffered from hyperemesis gravidarum throughout her entire journey, ultimately causing her to have frequent stays at the hospital as well as to cancel her tour. True to form, she still managed to find the humor in the situation. Just take a look at her hilarious maternity photo shoot or her all-too-relatable video struggling to put on socks. A large part of being a parent is laughing your struggles away, so Schumer’s already off to a great start.
