Amber Heard Is Expecting Baby No. 2

Amber Heard is expanding her family!

The Aquaman actress confirmed the joyful news on December 5. "It is still quite early in the pregnancy, so you will appreciate that we do not want to go into much detail at this stage. Suffice to say that Amber is delighted both for herself and Oonagh Paige,” a spokesperson for Heard shared with People.

Heard introduced her daughter, Oonagh Paige, to the world in 2021, three months after her birth via surrogate. “Four years ago, I decided I wanted to have a child. I wanted to do it on my own terms,” she revealed in an Instagram post at the time. “I now appreciate how radical it is for us as women to think about one of the most fundamental parts of our destinies in this way.”

“I hope we arrive at a point where it’s normalized to not need a ring in order to have a crib,” she continued. “A part of me wants to uphold that my private life is none of anyone’s business. I also get that the nature of my job compels me to take control of this. My daughter was born on April 8, 2021. Her name is Oonagh Paige Heard. She’s the beginning of the rest of my life.”

Since welcoming her daughter, Heard has made headlines amid a high-profile defamation suit with ex-husband Johnny Depp. Following the backlash from the case, she relocated to Spain to “live a quieter life.” Abroad, Heard has embraced motherhood, sharing glimpses of her now 3-year-old and affectionately reflecting on her mini-me in heartfelt posts.
