No Need to Leave the House This Winter—Amazon Will Deliver a Christmas Tree Right to Your Door
You can find almost everything you need on Amazon. And now, even real, full-size Christmas trees.
It’s easy—the trees are shipped bound and without water. All you have to do is look out for the hard-to-miss, 7-foot box that will be waiting for you on your doorstep.
Customers can choose from an assortment of trees, wreaths and garlands, which are currently available for pre-order. Some assortments will qualify for Prime free shipping, and Amazon offers pre-orders to allow you to choose a delivery date. The holiday greenery will officially go on sale beginning in November.
While Amazon sold trees shorter than 3 feet last year, this is the first year it is offering the larger trees, USA Today says. For those doubtful of the logistics, Amazon has it all figured out (Did you expect anything less?!). The trees will be sent within 10 days of being cut down, and are expected to survive the shipping in tip-top condition.
Online shoppers may choose from a bunch of beautiful tree varieties, Martha Stewart reports, which start at just $60.
And when the holiday season comes to an end, you’ll be able to take down your tree with ease. The original package comes with a bag for you to hold on to for hassle-free removal.
Although picking out a Christmas tree in person is a beloved tradition celebrated by many families, Amazon’s delivery option offers an opportunity for elderly, disabled, sick—and even some pregnant women who can’t brace the cold, icy outdoors—to spread some cheer in their homes.
It’s never too early to start thinking about the holidays, and these matching family pajamas will help make the wait a bit more bearable.
