Amazon Is Making It Easier Than Ever to Give Back This Holiday Season

This Giving Tuesday, Amazon is once again offering customers an easy way to give back to a child in need. All you have to do is use your voice.

From now until December 31, Alexa customers can simply say, “Alexa, donate to Toys for Tots.” Alexa will then present customers with items from the Toys for Tots’ Charity List—this is basically an organization’s wish list of needed products—all appropriate for kids across a range of ages. This year’s lists include items such as Scientific Explorer My First Mind Blowing Science Kit, 5 Second Rule Junior, Spot It! and more.

Once the order is confirmed, Amazon will ship the toy directly to Toys for Tots. Alexa can provide you with tracking and delivery information on when your donation is set to arrive. Plus, to thank you, Dolittle (set to release in January 2020) star Craig Robinson will send you a special message once your donation is confirmed.

“Last year, thousands of children received a toy thanks to the generosity of our customers,” Chuck Moore, VP of Alexa, said in a press release. “With Alexa, customers can donate to a child in need in less than 60 seconds. They don’t have to stop what they are doing to shop or donate, leaving more time for family and friends during the busy holiday season.”

The best part? Not only is it really easy, but Amazon will match every donation, toy for toy.
