This Is the Most Terrifying Maternity Shoot You Will Ever See

A Canadian couple went off the beaten path when it came time to take their maternity pictures. Posing in a field of pumpkins, Todd Cameron and his wife set the stage for what appeared to be a traditional fall-themed maternity photo series.

But the end result took a bloody twist.

“Well, you won’t believe what happened yesterday during our maternity shoot! Our chests are bursting with love for our new addition! Special thanks to Li Carter for her once-in-a-lifetime pictures and McNab’s Corn Maze for the location/birth place,” the dad says on his Facebook.

The maternity shoot makes a nod towards the 1979 science-fiction horror film, Alien. After Cameron found the alien chestburster figure at a garage sale, he and his wife decided to have a little bit of fun with their pregnancy pictures, POPSUGAR reports.

At first glance, the snapshots seem like your typical sweet maternity photos.

But, things quickly go awry for the pregnant mama.

And she gives birth to a bloody creature.

Ultimately, the pair happily embraces their scary newborn.

Cameron and his wife certainly took the Halloween theme and ran with it. And while the photos are a bit unconventional to say the least, they’ll always look back on the day and laugh.
