Azapropazone (Rheumox), ketorolac (Toradol, Acular), and piroxicam (Feldene) are also approved by the American Academy of Pediatrics and considered safe for breastfeeding moms and babies (L2 risk category). Indomethacin (Indocin), tolmetic (Tolectin), and naproxen (Aleve) are approved by the American Academy of Pediatrics and considered “moderately safe” for breastfeeding moms and babies (L3 risk category).
