Yuette

Yuette is an elegant name for girls. As a variant of Yvonne, it boasts French and Old German origins. Meaning “yew,” it refers to the coniferous trees that grows in the northern hemisphere.  Since its wood was primarily used in making bows, it may have been an occupational name given to archers. Over time, as the yew became a symbol of immortality and resurrection in Christianity, it was custom to carry yew branches on Palm Sundays. So if you’re little one was born on the Sunday before Easter, Yuette is a beautiful way to mark the occasion. If nothing else, this moniker will encourage your little one to keep their eyes on the prize and shoot their shot!
