Yashodhana

Yashodhana is a lyrical name of Sanskrit origin. Meaning “rich in fame” or “glory,” it’s meant for the child destined for greatness. Alternate forms of this moniker finds mentions in Indian mythology, namely Yasodhara, the wife of Prince Siddhartha, who would later become the Buddha, and Yashoda, the foster mother of Krishna. Although their part in these stories are small, their impact is not. Perhaps naming your little one Yashodhana is one way to inspire them to take after these heroines and leave their mark.
