Yareli

Yareli is a girl’s name, possibly of Brazilian or Arabic origin. It may be a variant of the name Yara, which means “water lady” in the Tupian language spoken by the aboriginal Tupi people of Brazil. In Tupi-Guarani mythology, Iara or Yara was the name of a water goddess, deriving from the word yîara meaning “lady of the lake.” Yara also means “small butterfly” in Arabic.
