Wray

Wray is a boy’s name taken from Old Norse and Middle English. While it literally translates to “nook” or “corner,” its subsequent meaning is “dweller in the corner.” Perhaps this is because a couple of places in Lancashire and Cumberland are known by the same name, and it may be referring to someone from there.
