Ukko

If baby is wise beyond their years, consider the name Ukko! A masculine moniker of Finnish origin, Ukko means “old man” and is commonly used as a term of endearment and respect in the culture. Additionally, Ukko has an alternate definition of “thunder,” which comes from the root word ukkonen. It also has great importance in Finnish mythology,  as Ukko is the name of the God of the sky and thunder. This powerful deity is said to control the harvest, the weather, and the fertility of the land.
