Tumnis

Tumnis is an endlessly sweet name. It's Latin in origin and famous for a specific Mr. Tumnis in C.S. Lewis' The Chronicles of Narnia. Tumnis in the books is a character who cared deeply and had a complicated past, giving his character more of a 3D nature than some other adolescent books. But besides this literary connotation, Tumnis also has a playful meaning of "then" and "now." This two-part definition comes from the Latin tum and nus, directly defined as "then, at the time" and "now," respectively.
