Samma

Spiritually inspiring and filled with faith, Samma, like many other Hebrew monikers, represents hope in the form of a first name. Traditionally feminine, Samma flows from the phrase shemu’el, which means “name of God.” It may also draw from shamma', an expression for “God has heard.” Samma’s alternative translation of “sun” comes from Samson, another of its possible predecessors.
