Riply

Riply, a variant of Ripley, is derived from the Old English rippel, meaning "grove" or "thicket," and leah, meaning "clearing." Initially an Anglo-Saxon surname, Riply appears in the names of several villages across England and was recorded in the Domesday Book as Ripelei, Riple, and Ripeleia. In the same light as Riply, WWE superstar Rhea Ripley has taken her name from the humble meadow to the wrestling stage, where she excels as one of the most talented female wrestlers.
