Rapunzel

The Grimms collection of works, Children's and Household Tales, laid the groundwork for this 18th century story to become the famous one known today! It was originally a story passed around the campfire from family member to family member. From Friedrich Schultz in 1790 came the first published iteration of Rapunzel. However, after its revival in 1812 thanks to the Grimms, the story would be famous for centuries to come.
