Plumeria

The flowering plant that also carries this moniker is found in gardens all over the world, from the beautiful Hawaiian Islands to the picturesque Caribbean. Plumeria is another word for “frangipani,” the common title given to this fragrant plant with multi-colored flowers. When your little petal grows up, they might even become a botanist, following in the footsteps of Charles Plumier, the French botanist who the plumeria flower is named after.
