Parthenope

Parthenope is a girl’s name of Greek origin that has mythology to thank for its meanings. As legend has it, Parthenope—whose name translates to “maiden’s voice”—was a Siren who lured sailors to their destruction with magical melodies. After failing to seduce the mythical hero, Odysseus, Parthenope threw herself into the sea and eventually washed up on the shores of an island called Megaride. Parthenope may not have captured the heart of Odysseus, but your little one will hopefully have everyone hooked!
