Parthalan is a masculine name of Irish origin, ideal for a little mythology fan in the making. This moniker is believed to be a modern respelling of Partholón, a name carried by the leader of a group of mythical early Irish invaders. In mythology, the Partholonians were said to be the first group to introduce farming, brewing, cooking, and building to Ireland before all dying of plague within one week! While the tale of the Partholonians might not end very happily, little Parthalan can still appreciate the beginning of their name’s story.
