Palladius

Palladius is a boy’s name of Latin origin, taken from the Greek name Palladios, meaning “follower of Pallas.” In Greek mythology, Pallas was another name for Athena, a Greek deity worshipped for her wisdom and wit. According to certain legends, she helped Hercules complete some of his mightiest quests. In The Odyssey, she played an important role in releasing Odysseus from his imprisonment.
