Obediah

Obediah is a Hebrew name for boys. Closely related to Obadiah, it stands for “servant of God.” According to the Talmud, an important religious text in Judaism, Obadiah is the name of a biblical prophet who is said to have been blessed with the gift of prophecy after he used all his wealth to feed poor prophets and helped hide a hundred of them from Jezebel’s persecution.
