Marina

Marina is a feminine name of Latin origin. The title derives from the Latin Marinus, which unsurprisingly translates to "from the sea." This nautical number was also borne by Prince Pericles and Thaisa's daughter in Shakespeare's play Pericles. The virtuous princess said she was "call'd Mariana, for I was born at sea." Sand, sea, and surf lovers are sure to rejoice in this pretty aquatic name, but that's not all who admire this moniker. Friends fans might recognize the namesake given to Matt LeBlanc's daughter, Marina Pearl LeBlanc.
