Makaiah

Makaiah is an alternate spelling of the masculine Hebrew name Micaiah, which in itself is a variant of Micah. The Book of Micah is the sixth of the twelve minor prophets in the Hebrew Bible and informs Makaiah's meaning of "who is like Yahweh." In the book, Micah expresses hope for the future while reproaching unjust leaders and defending the rights of the poor against the rich and powerful. Baby Makaiah can echo these sentiments by looking forward to a world at peace where everyone is equal and treated the same.
