Madlin

This is a clever little alternative to Madeline, which in turn derives from Magdalene, a name of Hebrew origins. The name holds many meanings—most significantly, the title means “of Magdala”—however, it also means “elegant” and “tower.” The most famous bearer of the title is Mary Magdalene, who is considered to be one of the most important women in the New Testament after Mary, the mother of Jesus. Madlin brings the title into the 21st century with its modern twist.
