Lynx

Lynx, as a gender-neutral name, is one sure to linger in the imagination. Inspiring images of a stealthy feline, as graceful as it is wild, Lynx is the epitome of a masterful hunter. And while most recognize the species for its tufted ears and beautiful thick fur, the Lynx is best known for its excellent eyesight. It is precisely for this reason the solitary creature secures its name. The Greek lynx stems from the root leuk, which means "light" or "brightness," in reference to the animal's striking eyes that glow defiantly against the darkness.
