Lionni is a masculine name of Greek origin for your lionhearted little cub. As a form of Leon, Lionni derives from leōn, meaning “lion,” to complement baby’s courage and strength. While Lionni’s presence is rather rare in the world, it's preserved in art and literature history by the Italian-American children’s author and illustrator Leo Lionni.
