Laurelin

There’s magic in every moniker, but nothing beats a timeless Tolkien title. Welsh in origin, the girl’s name Laurelin, meaning “Land of the Valley of Singing Gold,” is best known for its appearance in The Lord of the Rings trilogy. As told in Tolkien’s legendarium, Laurelin was once a mythical tree in Aman whose gold-trimmed leaves cast light upon the land of the Valar long before the sun and moon were created.
