Kiba

Kiba is a feminine name encouraging care and sanctuary. A variant of the Hebrew Akiva, Kiba means "protect" or "shelter," be it for the self or extending outwards. It's a tender name to bestow upon baby, welcoming security wherever they may be. Yet, one must not consider Kiba a helpless being, for its Japanese roots reveal the secondary meaning of "fang"— and with it, ample means to champion themselves should the need arise.
