Junie

Junie is a gender-neutral diminutive of June, the sixth month of the year. June, in turn, comes from the Roman goddess Juno, wife to Jupiter and goddess of marriage and childbirth. In Latin, Juno means “young one,” and the name Junie also means “young.” For a bit of symmetry, you can even give baby the name Junie if they are born in the month of June. What better way to think of baby than the long, warm, and sun-lit days of summer?
