“What’s in a name?” William Shakespeare famously asked. When it comes to Jesicca, a respelling of Jessica, there are a wealth of meanings. While incredibly popular today, it is said that this feminine title may have been invented by Shakespeare and used as a character in his late-16th-century play The Merchant of Venice.
