Iago

Loaded with villainous connotations, Iago is a boy's name unsuited to the faint of heart. A Welsh variation of the Latin Iacomus, Iago is rooted in the Hebrew Jacob, which means "supplanter." It's a poetic twist to one of Shakespeare's most cunning antagonists, whose treacherous schemes to replace the great general Othello was fueled by gnawing envy.
