Iacovo

Iacovo is a variation of Jacob, the name of the famous werewolf who won the hearts of Twilight fans. Before becoming a lovesick teenager, though, the name was well-known from the Old Testament of the Bible. The title is derived from the Hebrew name Ya'aqov, which means “following-after.” In the Bible, Jacob was born holding his twin brother’s heel and eventually convinced him to give up his firstborn rights. This endowed the name with the meanings “holder of the heel” and “supplanter.” Just as Jacob took his brother's place, baby Iacovo will quickly take hold of your heart. Make sure to keep an eye on them around the full moon as they may take a liking to howling.
