Gustaaf

A name born by no less than six Kings of Sweden, it has certainly made its mark on history. Gustaaf is a Dutch variation of the more frequently used Gustav. The title has its roots in Old Norse, from the term Gautstafr composed of the elements gautr, meaning “Geat,” and stafr, meaning “staff.” Gustaaf, therefore, means “staff of the Geats.” A name of royalty, Gustaaf commands attention.
