Flóki

Flóki is a masculine name of Icelandic and Nordic origins. It means "heroic Viking," and is said to be the name of the Viking who discovered, and named, Iceland. It's said that during the spring, Flóki Vilgerdarson climbed a mountain and after looking north, only say snow and a large icy fjord. He aptly named the area as the land of ice, and the rest is history.
