Fionnula

A Celtic name that radiates ancient energy, Fionnula is a compelling title. Of Irish origin, it is a slight variation of Fionnuala. It’s comprised of the terms fionn, meaning “white”, and guala, meaning “white shoulder” or “blonde.” Fionnuala was a character in Irish mythology, as a daughter of Lir of the Túatha Dé Dannan, a tribe of gods. The Children of Lir is a story many in Ireland grow up hearing, about a group of children cursed by their stepmother.
