Elide

Elide is a bit of a mystery but most likely derives from the Greek girl's names Elidi, Elis, and Ileia. It's blessed with the heavenly meaning, "gift of the sun," and possibly "low land" and "hollow earth." Elide blends the natural beauty of Elis, a place in western Greece, with Helios, the mythological son of Poseidon. Baby will probably love soaking up the sun and won't pass up a lazy day on the beach. As for catching them to reapply sunscreen? Well, that may just be their favorite game!
