Dylana

Dylana is a more feminine form of the gender-neutral Dylan, a Welsh name meaning “born from the sea” and “great tide.” Famously borne by Dylan ail Don, Dylana comes steeped in Welsh mythological wonder. In the Welsh Mabinogion tales, Dylan ail Don is interpreted as a sea god and as a god of darkness. Together with his twin brother Lleu, they represent the twin forces of light and dark—putting Lleu forward as a potential sibling name with yin-yang vibes.
