Dagne, also spelled Dagny, is a girl’s name of Old Norse origin. It combines the elements dagr, meaning “day,” with nýr, meaning “new,” to mean “new day.” Like the rising sun, your little one’s arrival will signify a new beginning—not just for them, but for you, too.
