Coppélia

Raise the barre with a name like Coppélia, a unique feminine title that could be a Latinized form of the Yiddish moniker Koppel. It might also come from the Greek kopelia, meaning “young woman.” However, to those familiar with the performing arts, Coppélia is a comic ballet by French composer Léo Delibes that premiered in Paris in 1870 with huge success.
