Comfrey

Comfrey is a name of ancient significance. In the days when Latin was a live language, the word confirmare meant "to join together," and this word would eventually be Anglicized into Comfrey; becoming a standalone name sometime around the late 19th century. But the meaning of confirmare comes from the herb that was used in poultices to heal broken and fractured bones, or even burns. It's most commonly found in damp grasslands and along riverbanks all throughout the world.
