Boian

Boian is a Romanian name for boys with contested meanings. Also written as Boyan, it stands for “warrior” and “soldier” in Slavic tradition. Many villages in Romania are known by this name, including an ancient civilization found along the river Danube. There is a possibility, however, that it may also denote “rich” and “wealth” in Mongolian and Turkish. But according to the Celtic origin, Boian could mean “strong” and “noble.” However you wish to look at it, you'll see it's two sides of the same coin. And there is no harm in wanting all that and more for your little warrior!
