Biren

Biren is a boy’s name of Old English origin. Like its sister name, Byron, it dates back to the Norman Conquest and comes from the expressions byrum and byre, meaning “at the cattle sheds” or “at the byres.” Where the original is perhaps known best for its literary prowess—think Lord Byron and Don Juan—Biren takes the cake for its popularity in India.
