Belia

Belia is a variant of the Spanish name Isabel and the French name Isabelle, both of which derive from the Hebrew name Elisheva. Elisheva is also the root of the name Elizabeth, and means “God’s promise.” Isabel and Isabelle are often shortened to Belle or Bella, but Belia offers a more unusual alternative that’s just as pretty. Perhaps inspired by similar names such as Amelia, Celia and Delia, Belia has a timelessly elegant feel.
