Barth

Barth, short for Bartholomew, is a beautiful name for boys, meaning “son of Talmai.” Greek and Aramaic in origin, it's mostly likely taken from the Christian New Testament, where Bartholomew—also known as Nathanael—becomes one of the Twelve Apostles. Other inspirations for baby include Karl Barth, a Swiss theologian, and American author John Barth, who penned The Floating Opera in 1956.
