Asenath

Asenath is an Egyptian girl's name meaning "devoted to the goddess Neith." Neith was an early Egyptian deity, also known as Net or Nit. She was believed to be the first creator, responsible for creating the universe and all it contains. Neith was also the goddess of wisdom, weaving, hunting, and war. Known for her fierceness, Neith sets a formidable example for baby to look up to. Asenath may also have Hebrew roots, translating to “harms,” “evils,” and “thorn bush.” While these meanings may not seem outwardly positive, they are simply reminders for baby that they can conquer any difficulty or obstacle that comes their way.
